How to get a pack

Everything happens inside Atlas, with no command line.

  1. Open Tweaks, then Icons, then Get more packs. Tweaks reads the list from this site.
  2. Choose a pack and install it for you (your account only) or for everyone (the administrator password is asked).
  3. Tweaks checks the download's size and SHA-256, then the archive's contents. If any check fails, nothing is installed.

Papirus is a Debian package (papirus-icon-theme): it installs for everyone, with the administrator password, and needs the internet.

Without internet

If this site cannot be reached, Tweaks says so plainly and offers Try again. It still lists, uses and removes the packs already installed.

Built into the system

For computers without internet, packs can be put in the Atlas image when it is built, with ICON_PACKS in build.conf (for example ICON_PACKS="papirus reversal fluent whitesur").

Licences and authors

The packs are made by their authors, credited on each pack's page with a link to their source. Atlas does not change them: ARW Labs only packages them (links made relative, licence files added).

ARW Labs does not relicense these packs. The licence shown on each card applies to that pack wherever it is passed on. Every archive carries the licence text, the list of authors and the exact source (repository and commit).
